PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of user to browse a predetermined image in different places and pay attentions to the image in real time. SOLUTION: An image management server 2 manages an album consisting of a plurality of images. An URL is assigned to each image of the album managed. When PC 4-1 and PC 4-2 acquire respectively data of the album from the image management server 2, a plurality of images based on the data are displayed on the respective displays. When a cursor located on the predetermiend image is moved on the PC 4-1 side, the URL of the image that is the moving destination is transmitted to the PC 4-2. The PC 4-2 moves its cursor to the image associated with the received URL. This invention is applicable to a personal computer for browsing a digitized album or a server for managing the album.
