PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner box for a cooking apparatus with a heater and an assembling method for the inner box capable of conducting the caulking process for joining through a simple procedure certainly without using large equipment and performing the assembly at low cost without inconvenience such as leak of electric waves. SOLUTION: The inner box for the cooking apparatus with heater has a front plate 13 having an opening 11 and a body 23 joined with the peripheral edge of the opening 11 and is structured so that the cooking with heater is conducted while high-frequency waves are cast into the body 23, wherein at least either of the front plate 13 and the joining part 28 with the body 23 is furnished with a first folded part 25 formed by folding the end and putting it in tight attachment in the inverted form and a second folded part 27 formed by inverting part of the end of the first folded part 25 with a certain gap reserved, while the other, the front plate 13 or the body 23, is furnished with a flange 33 to be inserted into the gap formed between the first 25 and second folded parts 27, and the joining part between the front plate 13 and the box 23 is formed in a caulked join structure in which the flange 33 is inserted into the gap.
