PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoked ceramic product by establishing a constitution relying on a physical means since, recently, various products capable of exhibiting negative ion properties have been marketed and, for example, an electrically generating system, or a system by the physical means such as minerals, carbon and charcoal is common, and, the physical means has a tendency of being usefully considered, e.g., because a negative ion effect maintains, and also, it is efficient or is generated without requiring resources/apparatus such as power. SOLUTION: The smoked ceramic product is produced by subjecting a ceramic product consisting of a carbonized stock and a body part of earthenware clay containing negative ion powder to smoking treatment. Pores, carbonized particles and negative ion powder are present in the body part, and a carbide film is present on the surface part of the clay. In the smoked ceramic product, a synergistic effect can be attained by the carbide film formed by the smoking, the presence of the carbonized particles formed by firing and the presence of the pores formed by the firing of flammable substances. By the smoked ceramic product, a negative ion effect, antibacterial effect, purification of drinking water, activation of cut flowers, deodorization, and elimination of effete matters and wastes in the living body are attained.
