PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slat conveyor enabling long usable life by absorbing thrust load. SOLUTION: Many slat plates 10 attached to a roller chain mechanism and provided continuously are provided in parallel as a pair on left and right sides. When an object to be conveyed generating slat load is loaded on the pair of left and right slat plates 10, the object to be conveyed is loaded on the slat plates 10 through a buffer mechanism 14 so that thrust load applied on the slat plates 10 is absorbed by the buffer mechanism 14 and is not applied on the slat plates to suppress wear of a rotary slide part of the roller chain mechanism accurately for use for a long time.
