PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt driving device capable of giving sufficient driving force to a belt and obtaining required effective tensile force while preventing breakage of the belt or the like. SOLUTION: This belt driving device is provided with the belt 1, a driving roller 2 driving the belt 1, a plurality of nip rolls 4 in contact with the belt 1 and rotating, and a pressurizing device 5 pressing each nip roll 4 in the direction in which the driving roller 2 comes into pressure contact with the belt 1.
