<p>A method for machining curved profiles, especially in wood, uses a flexible template (1) comprising a number of linked elements under a flexible cover (2) and bent into the required shape, either manually or by pressing onto prepared templates. The template is locked in position and clamped parallel to a clamped workpiece. A machining tool is moved between the template and workpiece, following the contour of the workpiece and driving the milling head to copy the contour in the cut wood. The machining is done in one pass and requires no performing of the workpiece.</p> |
