Device for mixing a product with a liquid, where the product is in lump, gel, paste, powder or liquid form and is contained in a soluble film bag, comprises a sealable mixing vessel (3) with a chamber (7) for receiving the product (9) in its bag (8) and the liquid. The chamber has an attachment (6) for mechanically destroying the bag. An independent claim is also included for a mixing kit comprising a mixing device as above, a product (e.g. powder, granules, paste, gel, liquid or tablet) in a soluble film bag, optionally a liquid-filled container and optionally a container filled with another component.
