<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a metallic can for an aerosol container which is light in weight, is excellent in appearance and can suitably be fitted with a cap for covering a valve. <P>SOLUTION: In the case the metallic can for the aerosol container is manufactured by seaming and fixing a bottom cover made of another member on the side of the open end of the body part after forming the inclined shoulder part and the open curled part on the side of the bottom to a blind cylindrical seamless can the body part of which is thinned, an annular flat part 4 having an approximately horizontal plane is formed by pressing with an inner die inserted into the can from the side of the open end of the body part of the can 1 and an outer die which is arranged out of the can oppositely to the inner die before the bottom cover is seamed and fixed in the vicinity of the top of the shoulder part 3 which is extended without a seam from the body part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
