<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give an advertisement to a user by composing advertisement information of an agent which provides a digital content to character image information. <P>SOLUTION: In this image signal generation device 008 for making a user watch the digital content read through a network, the agent which provides the digital content is specified. Agent information including at least the advertisement information of the agent is composed to the character image information preliminarily prepared on this device side. In order to disseminate the agent to the user, the character image information with the composed agent information is displayed on a display screen.
