<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the improvement of miniaturization and array characteristics by making a redundant delay line unnecessitated . <P>SOLUTION: The phased-array antenna device is composed of a large number of antenna elements 2, a large number of antenna lines 3 for connecting the opposing antenna elements 2 with a high frequency signal processing part 5, and a capacitance adjusting part 4 arranged along each antenna line 3 and constituting a varicap on the antenna lines 3. Each capacitance adjusting part 4 is respectively arranged along each antenna line 3. It is composed of a plurality of capacitance variable micro machine capacitors 10 having a movable electrode 11 in which the fixed end 12 is connected with the ground 8 and the free end 13 is arranged to oppose to the antenna line 3, which is oppositely arranged so as to execute capacitance connection by making the antenna line 3 as an opposing electrode, and at the same time which varies the connection capacitance by being driven in the directions of contacting and separating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
