METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING CABLE TO BE REMOVED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating a cable to be removed, in which an unwanted cable is discriminated easily, for easy removing operation of the cable.

SOLUTION: A thermosensitive paint is applied for each arbitrary section on an insulating coat 5 of a plurality of shield cable 1 that are installed. A core wire 2 at one end of the shield cable 1 which is to be removed is electrically connected to a shield wire 4, and a voltage is applied between a core wire 2 at the other end and the shield wire 4. The shield cable 1 which should be removed is discriminated based on change of color of the thermosensitive paint under heat.
