PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deformation of a magnetic disk and the distribution of distortion caused by variation of fastening force by a plurality of screws. SOLUTION: This magnetic disk device is provided with a spindle motor rotating a magnetic disk, and a carriage rotationally holding a magnetic head provided at an end part of a suspension at an arbitrary position of the magnetic disk. And a clamp pressing the magnetic disk 100 is attached to a hub 102 of the spindle motor with a plurality of screws, the clamp consists of a first clamp 104 of a ring type fastened by a screw 101 and a second clamp 105 of a ring type pressing the end part of an outer periphery side to the magnetic disk, the first clamp and the second clamp form a contact plane 200 only at their inner periphery side, fastening axial tension of the screw is transferred in order of the screw, the first clamp, the contact plane, the second clamp, the outer periphery side end part of the second clamp, and the magnetic disk.
