PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which is equipped with a resistor element of high accuracy. SOLUTION: A resistor row is composed of a plurality of resistor elements 5 formed of an impurity diffusion layer, and resistor elements 5a having the same element shape with the resistor element 5 are arranged on both sides of the resistor row composed of the resistor elements 5. The resistor element 5 serves as a resistor element used in a D/A conversion circuit, and the resistor element 5a serves as a dummy element which does not function effectively in the circuit of the semiconductor device. The ends of the resistor elements 5 and the resistor elements 5a are connected to a grounding potential through a wide interconnect line which is continuously formed on the same layer. The other ends of the resistor elements 5 are connected to bipolar transistors 6 and furthermore connected to a R-2R ladder circuit of the D/A conversion circuit through the intermediary of a switching element.
