<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous diagnosis of fuel gas leakage even in the case a difference between a fuel gas consumption amount and a fuel gas supply amount becomes temporarily large at the time of a rapid load fluctuation by precisely carrying out leakage judgment of the fuel gas. <P>SOLUTION: A hydrogen consumption amount is calculated based on an output current value from a fuel cell stack, and a hydrogen permeation amount of hydrogen supplied to an anode electrode of the fuel cell stack and flowing to a cathode electrode side through a solid polyelectrolyte film is estimated. Then, the hydrogen leakage is judged based on these calculated hydrogen consumption amount value, estimated hydrogen permeation value, a purge-time hydrogen discharge amount to be discharged from the fuel cell stack by the purge, and a detected hydrogen supply amount value detected by a flow sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
