<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell device whose output characteristics are improved, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: An n-type single crystal silicon wafer 1 has a substantial square-shape composed of four sides 30, and its four corners are truncated linearly to form four hypotenuses 31. On the major surface of the n-type single crystal silicon wafer 1, an i-type amorphous silicon film and a p-type amorphous silicon film are formed sequentially. In the region except the periphery of the p-type amorphous silicon film, a light receiving surface electrode 2 composed of a transparent conductive film is formed. On the light receiving surface electrode 2, a plurality of collector electrodes 3, 4 are formed. In the regions along the hypotenuses 31 in the four corners on the peripery of the single crystal silicon wafer 1, conductive light shielding parts 5 are formed. The conductive light shielding parts 5 are formed so as to be separated at a prescribed distance from the edge of the light receiving surface electrode 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
