<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read in data on both a normal signal and an inverted signal from a card in a noncontact card reader/writer. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving, for example, an output signal from an IC card, a CPU 12 generates a detection timing signal for each of normal and inverted data to detect data on the received signal. Data on the received signal are detected at the two timings and stored in memories 18a and 18b respectively. The CPU 12 determines whether the signal is a normal signal or an inverted signal in dependence on the signals stored in the memories 18a and 18b, and reads the data at the read timing for the determined signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
