PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid device in which opening/closing operations of a double lid, especially the opening operation is simple, and which is excellent in handleability; and to provide a digital camera provided with the lid device. SOLUTION: The lid device 30, which is arranged at a part of a case 11, is for protecting a part 20 to be protected including at least an opening part 22 of a recording medium storing chamber 21 and connector parts 23, 24 for connecting with external equipment. The lid device 30 is provided with a first lid (an outer lid) 31 which is provided movably between a closing position CP1 for closing the part 20 to be protected and an opening position OP1 for opening it, and a second lid (an inner lid) 32 which is inside the first lid 31 and which is provided movably between a closing position CP2 for closing the opening part 22 of the recording medium storing chamber 21 and an opening position OP2 for opening it. In the lid device, the second lid 32 is provided so as to move to the opening position OP2 for opening the opening part 22 of the recording medium storing chamber 21 following the opening operation of the first lid 31.
