PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of seeding and planting a slope with excellent workability in harmony with a surrounding view while promoting the use of thinned woods. SOLUTION: This method of seeding and planting the slope comprises a process for seeding and planting the slope 10 and constructing a wooden earth retaining fence 40 on the slope 10, a process for laying restraining stay members 50 between the earth retaining fence 40 and the slope 10 on the upper side of the earth retaining fence 40, and a process for filling a vegetation base material 60 inside the earth retaining fence 40 and planting or sowing.
