PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately position a new steel column in disposing the lower end of the new steel column face to face with the upper end of an existing steel column. SOLUTION: A guide part 10 projected upward from an end face 101A of the upper end 101 of the existing steel column 100 and guiding the lower end 201 of the new steel column 200 into a prescribed position in disposing the lower end 201 of the new steel column 200 face to face with the upper end 101 of the existing steel column 100 is formed integrally with an erection piece 110 provided at the peripheral surface of the upper end 101 of the existing steel column 100.
