PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting system for a gas appliance capable of individually detecting various abnormalities occurred in a plurality of gas appliances. SOLUTION: An individual gas flow rate grasping means 23 grasps a flow rate of a fuel gas to each gas appliance on the basis of the change of an operating condition of each of gas appliances 5, 7, 9, 11 grasped by an appliance operating condition grasping means 22, and the change of the detected flow rate of fuel gas by a corresponding gas meter 2. The abnormality detecting means 25 monitors the flow rate of the fuel gas supplied to each gas appliance, grasped by the individual gas flow rate grasping means 23, and detects an abnormal condition with respect to the gas appliance where the fuel gas supply flow rate is over a specific flow rate.
