PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail guide device for a passenger conveyor capable of preventing a handrail from coming off, reducing running resistance of the handrail, and preventing a passenger from receiving sense of incongruity such as delay of the handrail. SOLUTION: This handrail guide device for the passenger conveyor is constituted in such a way that a frame 6 having U-shaped cross section is attached along a circular arc-shaped peripheral fringe part of a handrail frame 2, a guide roller 7 is rotatably provided on a mutually opposing pair of sides 6b of the frame 6 through a shaft 8, a guide plate 6c is formed integrally with the frame 6 so as to extend to an outer side from top parts of the pair of sides 6b, and its extension end is stored in an ear part 3a of the handrail 3.
