PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protection device equipped with an air bag attached to a vehicle seat, whereby the seat is constructed simply at low cost and the air bag is deployed without fail. SOLUTION: The occupant protection device 50 comprises an air bag (100) storage case 70 having no closure flap and a storage case opening 110 covered with a seat cover 40 of the vehicle seat 10.
