PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular coating device hard to produce air bubbles even if an annular coating method capable of more reducing the necessary amount of a coating solution as compared with an dip-coating method is utilized. SOLUTION: The annular coating device is equipped with an annular coating tank 3 for holding a coating solution 2 and having an annular seal material 8, which has a hole 10 having a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of a cylindrical core body 1, provided to the bottom part thereof and constituted so that the cylindrical core body 1 is passed through the hole 10 of the annular seal material 8 and relatively raised from the annular coating tank 3 to coat the surface of the cylindrical core body 1 with the coating solution. The hole 10 of the annular seal material 8 is formed into a shape, for example, an oval shape that the edge part of the annular seal material 8 formed by the hole 10 comes into contact with the cylindrical core body 1 when the cylindrical core body 1 is passed through the hole 10 so as to form an angle with respect to the surface vertical to the axial direction of the cylindrical core body 1.
