PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overheat of a cooled device such as a subordinate radiator attached to a fire pump at the time of spraying water from the fire pump for extinguishing a fire by a fire engine without discharging water to be sprayed from the fire pump to the ground out of the vehicle even if the pressure on the suction side of the fire pump is high. SOLUTION: The cooling unit comprises a spray water circulation tube 13 for circulating part of water sprayed from the fire pump to a water intake 11 of the fire pump when the fire pump 10 is operated, a heat exchanger 14 with water flowing in the spray water circulation tube as a coolant, and a cooling water circulation tube 15 to which water is fed by a water pump for cooling cooled devices 19 and 20.
