<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high quality developing by suppressing sticking of an electrifying material onto an image carrier, in an apparatus where a latent image on the image carrier is formed into a toner image by using developer constituted of toner and the electrifying material for electrifying the toner. <P>SOLUTION: A mesh 41 having a pore whose diameter is larger than the average particle size of the toner, and smaller than the average particle size of carrier is arranged facing a photoreceptor 1, and the developer 50 constituted of a toner 48 and a carrier 49 as the electrifying material is stored in the mesh 41, and a bias voltage is applied to the mesh to form a developing electrical field for making the electrified toner in the developer travel toward the photoreceptor, and the electrified toner is emitted through the pore of the mesh by the developing electrical field, then, the latent image on the photoreceptor is formed into the toner image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
