<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method capable of providing a high quality printed matter which has a wide color reproduction range and high chroma, reduces metamerism, excels graininess and has exceedingly improved glossiness, and also to provide an ink set. <P>SOLUTION: In performing ink jet recording on a recording medium by using an ink set provided with a yellow ink of about 80 to about 110° hue angle, a magenta ink of about 330 to about 360° hue angle, a cyan ink of about 230 to about 260° hue angle and an ink (A) of about 0 to about 80° hue angle and an ink (B) of about 260 to about 330° hue angle, the recording method is performed on the condition that the dot diameter (Dm) of the magenta ink, the dot diameter (Dc) of the cyan ink, the dot diameter (Da) of the ink (A) and the dot diameter (Db) of the ink (B), on the recording medium, satisfy either the relation (1): Dm>Da or the relation (2): Dc>Db. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
