<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bar code robbery, etc., by enhancing the security of data by the use of a two-dimensional bar code which stores a large capacity of information and an enciphering algorithm, and performing settlement only by a mobile device authenticated by the use of a synchronization system. <P>SOLUTION: A settlement method includes: a step for generating the two-dimensional bar code, storing it, enciphering it, and then, transferring it to an individual terminal apparatus; a step for displaying the two-dimensional bar code in the individual terminal apparatus; a step for synchronizing the individual terminal apparatus with a main server; a step for scanning the displayed two-dimensional bar code by a two-dimensional scanner; a step for decoding the scanned two-dimensional bar code; a step for confirming the information of the decoded two-dimensional bar code; a step for confirming the information and also the propriety of synchronization, and then, authenticating it; a step for transferring the authentication result by the individual terminal apparatus and a selling spot terminal apparatus; and a step for settling a settlement amount by the selling spot terminal apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
