PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitivity method for immunological measurement of low-molecular compounds. SOLUTION: The method of detecting a low-molecular compound is characterised by binding between the low-molecular compound, an object to be measured present in a liquid to be tested and a cross-linking agent as a pretreatment; using an antibody to the object to be measured, wherein the antibody is prepared, using an immunogen with which a protein is coupled via the same cross-linker as used for the object to be measured in the pretreatment; and detecting the low-molecular compound, the object to be measured, present in the liquid to be tested by the method for immunological measurement.
