PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the height of an electronic device mounted on a board. SOLUTION: In the electronic device, a box-shaped shield cover member 50 composed of a top board 55 and four side boards 51-54 is fixed to cover a printed board assembly 31. The cover member 50 has inwardly bent lugs 61-64 in the side boards 51-54 and openings 71-74 for soldering at the spots of the top board 55 corresponding to the lugs 61-64. The lugs 61-64 are soldered to the top surface of a printed board 32 and the board 32 is positioned to the lower ends of the side boards 51-54. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
