PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire fabric of a tire cord, obtained by using a blend-type fiber having excellent abrasion resistance, fatigue resistance and rubber adhesion, and comprising a thermotropic polyester A having a high strength/high modulus as an island component, and a thermoplastic resin B having no thermotropic properties as a sea component as a warp yarn; and also to provide a tire containing the tire fabric. SOLUTION: The tire fabric of the tire cord is obtained by using the blend-type fiber which comprises the thermotropic polyester A as the island component, and the thermoplastic resin B not having the thermotropic properties as the sea component, and which satisfies a relation of the following formulas (1) to (3) of the volume ratio of the components A to B, and the viscosity ratio at a spinning temperature: (1), 0.5<ϕA<0.9; (2),ηA>ηB; and (3),ϕA/ϕB<ηA/ηB (wherein:ηA is an apparent viscosity of the thermotropic polyester A at the spinning temperature at 100 sec<SP>-1</SP>shear rate;ηB is an apparent viscosity of the thermoplastic resin B not having thermotropic properties at the spinning temperature at 100 sec<SP>-1</SP>shear rate;ϕA is a volume proportion of the thermotropic polyester A; andϕB is a volume proportion of the thermoplastic resin B having no thermotropic properties) as the warp yarn.
