PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely stick a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape even on a long and slender corrugated cardboard box in which strength at the intermediate site in the longitudinal direction tends to decrease, in a sealing apparatus constituted in such a way that the corrugated cardboard box before sealing whose left and right flaps are butted and faced each other is delivered along a definite delivering passage toward the front and back direction, and sticking rollers running on the corrugated cardboard box delivered stick the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape along the butted site of the left and right flaps, and the stuck pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is cut at a position crossing the box. SOLUTION: A means 34 for detecting the start of sticking which detects that the sticking rollers 14 and 15 run on the corrugated cardboard box W and are under an actuating condition, and a means 29 for forcibly moving the rollers which forcibly moves the sticking rollers 14 and 15 to a tape sticking level of the box W based on detecting action of the means 34 for detecting the start of sticking, are provided.
