PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technique for regulating an illicit movement of a seat body to the front when inputting load into the seat body without hindering horizontal rotation of the seat body to be a normal movement at a normal time in a seat device for the vehicle capable of horizontally rotating the seat body between a seating position directed to a vehicle front part and a getting in/out position directed to a door opening part of a vehicle side surface on a vehicle floor. SOLUTION: When rotating the seat body from the getting in/out position to the seating position, a hook part 42b of a seat side hook member 42 provided in a seat holder 21 is inserted into an engagement hole 41d of a body side hook member 41 provided on a fixed base 13. When the seat body is displaced to a front oblique upper side by load of a seat belt in the state, the hook part 42b is engaged to a hole edge of the engagement hole 41d.
