METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HYDRAULIC TRANSFER FILM AND HYDRAULIC TRANSFER MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hydraulic transfer film and a hydraulic transfer medium by which a cured resin layer and a decorative layer showing superb surface characteristics can be imparted to a hydraulic transfer medium; the occurrence of defective products in a manufacturing process without a blocking phenomenon is minimized; and both obtained film and medium are free from a surface defect due to the transfer failure of the cured resin layer. SOLUTION: The hydraulic transfer film is constituted of a support film formed of a water-soluble or a water swelling resin, the curable resin layer which can be cured by at least one kind selected from either active energy radiation illumination or heating on the support film and the decorative layer formed of a printing ink film or a coating material film on the curable resin layer. On the decorative layer, a release film which is peelable between an interface between the film and the decorative layer is provided. The maximum peel force between the decorative layer and the release film is 5.8 to 40 mN/24 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
