PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose stapler, stapling a thick paper sheet and a number of paper sheets, and book-binding, sticking a paper sheet instead of a thumb tack, and sticking plates instead of a nail using a handy stapler. SOLUTION: In this handy stapler, plates are provided on upper, middle and lower stages to easily apply force, and a picture to be stuck is fixed to a paper sheet or a wall by a stopper or the middle-stage plate so that the body or an object to be bound is fixed. Thus, with the stapler, a thick paper sheet and a number of paper sheets are stapled, and book-binding, sticking a picture to the wall, sticking plates to each other can be performed, and further a nail can be removed.
