<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of an internal combustion engine for excellently maintaining a combustion state by restraining influence of a supercharging effect adjusting means arranged in a turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine 1 is provided with the turbocharger 10 including an electric motor 10d as the supercharging effect adjusting means for changing the corresponding relationship between an exhaust flow rate and the supercharging effect, and is provided with an EGR valve 23 as an EGR quantity adjusting means capable of adjusting EGR quantity separately from the turbocharger 10, and an ECU 17 as an EGR control means for controlling operation of the EGR valve 23 so as to offset a change in the EGR quantity generated according to an adjustment of the supercharging effect by the electric motor 10d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
