<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power unit which can supply backup power, according to the working condition of electronic equipment, and can omit wastefulness in power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This uninterruptible power unit is suited to be set in electronic equipment, such as a personal computer and is equipped with a rechargeable battery, such as an Li ion battery, an Ni-MH battery. This unit is equipped with a backup control means which detects the supply state of a first DC power (standby power) required for the waiting action of the electronic equipment body and a second DC power (operating power) required for the normal operation of the electronic equipment body that the power source unit of the electronic equipment outputs, or detects the quantity of power load of the power unit, and decides the working condition of the electronic equipment body and supplies backup power, only when the electronic equipment body is in normal operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
