<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device realizing excellent productivity and cost reduction since an O-ring can be omitted at usual specification and realizing good workability of assembling at high temperature specification. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation shaft 32 of an electric motor M for assisting of steering and a worm shaft 11 are driven and connected by a coupling 33 comprising a male coupling member 331 and a female coupling member 332. A lubricant having (1) kinematic viscosity of a base oil of 1,000-5,000 mm<SP>2</SP>/s (40°C) and (2) mixing consistency of 300 or lower, particularly a grease is filled in a fitting part of both coupling members 331, 332 of the coupling 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
