<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent uniformity of a charged state, excellent fluidity and transfer efficiency and capable of suppressing the lowering of image density. <P>SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by adding negative charge type fine silica particles and positive charge type fine silica particles in a mass ratio of 93:7 to 17:83 to toner matrix particles, and the toner is transported in such a way that the amount of the toner on a toner carrier is regulated to 0.2 to <0.45 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>. Preferably, fine silica particles having different average particle diameters are used as the negative charge type fine silica particles, a metallic salt of a fatty acid is finally added, and a prescribed amount of the toner is transported to the toner carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
