<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warming-up system of a fuel cell capable of reducing time and energy required for low-temperature start. <P>SOLUTION: In this warming-up system of a fuel cell, the fuel cell 1 equipped with a fuel cell cooling system 2 has, in its inside, a catalyst combustion passage 104 for generating catalyst combustion by a mixture M of a fuel (hydrogen) and air. The mixture M is supplied to the catalyst combustion passage in start-up to warm up the fuel cell by the catalyst combustion. A catalyst layer 14 of a cell 10 of the fuel cell may be used as the catalyst combustion passage, and may be used for a cooling water passage 103 of a fuel cell cooling system at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
