PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which excels in all of lower temperature fixability, heat resistant preservable property, fogging and image density, a fixing method which is high in thermal energy efficiency and excels in low-temperature fixability, a process cartridge using the toner, and an image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains at least a binder resin, charge control agent and colorant, in which the colorant is a black iron oxide compound containing a titanium component at 10 to 45wt% of an Fe atom in terms of a Ti atom in a wavelength dispersion type fluorescent X-ray process; a peak of a Bragg angle 2θin relation to a CuKαcharacteristic X-ray of the toner exists at a peak A: 32.9°±0.3°and a peak B:35.5°±0.3°and the X-ray intensity ratio thereof exists in a range of the peek A/B=0.3 to 2.0 at a scan speed 0.5 to 4°/min.
