PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of eliminating the shortage of a drive force in the trouble of a drive power source system. SOLUTION: In this steering device for the vehicle, both batteries Batt_A and Batt_B supplying a drive power to a steering control system such as steering motors 27a and 27b can be connected to the first control part 30a and second control part 30b of an SBW_ECU 30. Even if a part of the doubled batteries Batt_A and Batt_B, for example, the battery Batt_A causes a trouble, a trouble-free battery Batt_B can be connected to the first control part 30a and second control part 30b receiving the supply of the drive power from the troubled battery Batt_A. Accordingly, even after the occurrence of the trouble, the drive force can be provided from the whole of the doubled steering motors 27a and 27b.
