PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide throttle valve type carburetor with an opening sensor capable of detecting the opening of the slide throttle valve at a low cost without providing a special rotation lever for the opening sensor. SOLUTION: The slide throttle valve 4 is opened/closed by an accelerator wire W, and a pump rod 12 of an acceleration pump device P is operated by a rotatably supported acceleration lever 20 and a pump press lever 30. An acceleration wire A operating the acceleration operation lever 20 and the accelerator wire W are synchronously operated by a driver. The opening sensor K is attached to a carburetor body 1, a rotor 42 of the opening sensor K is engaged with an engaging projection part 25 integrally formed at the rotation center of the acceleration operation lever 20, and the rotation of the acceleration operation lever 20 is transmitted to the opening sensor K.
