PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground-fault interrupter capable of cutting off power on detecting abnormal temperature in the ground-fault interrupter. SOLUTION: This ground-fault interrupter 1 is provided with: a zero phase current transformer 2 for detecting electric leakage of power lines L1 and L2; an electric leakage detection circuit 5 for detecting a voltage induced in the current transformer 2; a switching circuit 6 operated by detection output from the electric leakage detection circuit 5; and a relay circuit 7 operated by the output from the switching circuit 6 to shut off a cable run. The switching circuit 6 is provided with an overheat prevention circuit 9 having temperature fuses 11 and 12, so that the relay circuit 7 is operated when the temperature fuse 11 or 12 is melted down.
