PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick-layer rolling compaction construction method by which the density of soil in a thick-layer deep layer having a spreading depth of lm is made to reach a specified compaction control reference or more by the traveling of a heavy dump truck and working efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: In the thick-layer rolling compaction construction method, transportation works of soil and sand are conducted by using the heavy dump truck while thick-layer rolling is conducted. In the construction method, kinds of machines, the axial load of an OR tire, contact pressure, stress distribution S1 in the ground, the relation S2 of a void ratio and normal stress and a required rolling number S3 are obtained. In the method, S4 in which the density of soil is imparted by the function of the normal stress, shear stress and the rolling number by a soil test, and S5 in which dry density obtained by a density sensor for soil and a measured dry density coincide in test construction are confirmed. In the method, the problem is solved by a process S6 in which reaching to the specified compaction control reference of the obtained dry density is inspected, and a process S7 in which a track net for the dump truck is constructed and the number of passages and the density control of soil are conducted in the execution of works.
