PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a surface of a silk fabric by which the formed surface resisting to laundry, and providing a feeling hardly changed by the processing without using a resin for the processing is imparted to the silk fabric; to provide a method for forming the surface by which an elegant moire pattern with a high class feeling is imparted to crepe; and to provide a silk fabric having the formed surface resisting to the laundry and hardly causing change of the feeling. SOLUTION: The method for forming the surface of the silk fabric by laying the silk fabric such as the crepe on a forming surface of a mold for forming the pattern, and heating and pressurizing at least a part of the silk fabric comprises regulating a dried state of the silk fabric in the heated and pressurized region so as to be present after a wet state of the silk fabric in the heated and pressurized region, and carrying out the heating and pressurizing for 10-1,000 sec. The mold for the forming comprises a cloth, and the face of the forming mold is the uneven face formed by the cloth. The method for forming the surface of the silk fabric comprises a step for overlapping the cloth in the wet state with the silk fabric to provide an overlapped product of the cloth and the silk fabric, and a step for heating and pressurizing the overlapped product.
