PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolyzing furnace which can continue treatment of waste products for a long period of time by eliminating the closure of a coupling gas pipe. SOLUTION: The subject pyrolysis system has the pyrolyzing furnace 71 for generating pyrolysis gas by pyrolyzing the waste products, a duct 4 and the coupling gas pipe 5 for introducing the pyrolysis gas generated in the pyrolyzing furnace 71 and a reformer 65 connected to the coupling gas pipe 5. A spiral screw 7 is freely rotatably arranged within the duct 4 and the coupling gas pipe 5 and is driven by a drive unit 14. A scraping bar 8 is arranged in the spiral screw 7.
