PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a fishing rod by introducing an advantage of an inner-through type rod such as without forming line entanglements and twisting of the rod to an outside-through type rod, and realizing the same by using a cylinder of 3 mm size. SOLUTION: This cylinder type line guide is provided by expanding or contracting the both ends of the pipe of 3 mm size for establishing the mounting of a guide ring and mounting the pipe at the rod tip, processing a back notch by a prescribed depth, loading a hard guide ring there and reinforcing the notched part with silver soldering.
