PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial seawater enabling a resisting egg to be efficiently produced; and to provide a method for producing the resisting egg by using the artificial seawater. SOLUTION: The artificial seawater contains at least Na+, Ca2+and HCO3-. The method for producing the resisting egg uses the artificial seawater described in the claims 1 to 4.
