PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quantifying inositol in high accuracy even in a liquid sample containing glucose in high concentrations compared to the inositol such as a multivitamin drink. SOLUTION: The method for quantifying inositol in a liquid sample essentially containing the inositol and glucose is provided, involving using a flow injection system where the front tier of an inositol dehydrogenase reactor packed with an inositol dehydrogenase-immobilized carrier is arranged with a glucose-removing enzyme reactor packed with a carrier coimmobilized with catalase and mutarotase.
