The device is for use with props (1) and is placed on a floor, which is lined with a floor foil (8). It has a plate (2) placed in/directly on the floor foil. A foil (6) fastened sealing to the plate is also connected sealing to the floor foil. Connection is via sealing or adhesive. A second plate (3) is positioned opposite to the first one, defining a clamping area (5) for the foil. A peripheral groove in the first plate has a clamp ring to hold the foil. The device is used in a tank with a base having a flexible leakage monitoring system below it.
